MEDICO - Nordplus Network

Goal of the MEDICO

The ultimate goal of network cooperation is to assure that graduating nurses have medication competence and to increase patient safety. Thus far, this goal has been partly reached through the professional development of educators directly involved in teaching medication care and patient safety.

The network has enabled educators to join new forums to share their experiences of teaching and learning in the area of medication management and pharmacology as well as to develop new methods and tools for teaching through the organization Nordic Forum for Nurse Educators.

The cooperation started in November 2011 and includes participants from:
